In the work Symbiosis, we encounter forms in motion that make the imagination dance. You are invited into a visual language communicating through shifting silhouettes—where each form
seems to speak directly to you. With bass and drums that both lead and follow the rhythm of the dance, an experience
unfolds where abstract movements express emotions and moods.

Symbiosis explores a form of storytelling that awakens our associations to shape, movement, and sound. The entirety
emerges in the viewer’s interpretation— each experience becomes a piece of a larger, shared story. This is costume
designer and artistic director Amanda Wisselgren’s first major work, where she aims to build bridges through culture and
foster understanding of different ways to experience the world. On stage, dancers Stina Joliden and Cesar Carrera share
space with musicians Hanna Magdalena Gödl and Vida Vojić. A wordless dialogue grows, where body and sound reflect each other in motion.
The performance Symbiosis is about the images that are evoked in the viewer by experiencing shapes, sounds, light and movement. We interpret looks, body language and moods every day. You may have met a friend's gaze and started laughing without exchanging a single word. Or seen someone on the street and guessed that they had a hard day. In these situations, you have created a story by using your imagination. It is the same ability that allows us to experience abstract art and dance. Afterwards, you carry with you your own interpretation of what you experienced, a story as true as someone else's.

The performance can be adapted to non-theatre spaces (electricity needed,
dance mat needed, if performed on hard surfaces).
Access to changing room and shower required.
Price per performance (negotiable): 6000€ + travel & accommodation
covered (3 nights, 1 rehearsal day before performance).
